Rocking Z Guest Ranch. This Montana ranch has versatile horses for every level of rider and endless new terrain and trails. Ride to the top of a mountain and canter along amid stunning views. Travelers may learn to connect with horses at this ranch through Pat Parelli's Seven Games of Natural Horsemanship."
"This is a working ranch, which raises raise Corriente cattle for roping and horse training. There are 75 horses, 45 head of cattle and multiple dogs and cats. Guests can participate in cattle work and ranch life, a challenging and fun adventure."
"The Rocking Z is equidistant from Glacier National Park in the North and Yellowstone National Park in the South of the state, which offer great wildlife viewing. On the ranch, bird watchers delight and out on the trails, you may spot Eagles, Sand-Hill Cranes and Blue Herons."
"Guests can enjoy a variety of amenities and activities on this Montana riding holiday. There is also blue ribbon fly fishing on the ranch as well on the nearby Missouri River. Relax in the hot tub or cool off in the creek. There is skeet and target shooting, as well as archery. Hiking, bird and wildlife viewing, horseshoes are all enjoyed. Zack is an expert in local history and geology and can intrigue you with stories and drives."
"Meals are relaxed occasions with plenty of choices and dietary restrictions can be catered for, whether you're gluten free or pescatarian. Breakfast includes a bounty of coffee, tea, bacon and eggs as well as fresh fruit and yogurt. Lunches are varied and may be a sandwich out on the trails or cooked over a fire when out and about. Wine, beer and soft drinks are complimentary and served up in the lodge and saloon. In the private saloon you can enjoy pool, cards, darts, and beer on tap besides lot of stories."
"The warm lodge is a gathering place for guests, while the spacious guests rooms are their own little oasis. Rooms have extra-long beds, seating areas and rooms outside of the lodge area also include their own natural gas fireplaces."
