Located on 1100 acres of summer pastures with tall pines and breathtaking views of the Selkirk and Cabinet Mountain Ranges, Western Pleasure Guest Ranch is a fourth generation cattle ranch that has been operating on the same land since 1940. Ranch hosts Roley and Janice share their love for their family ranch along with the rich history, beauty and traditions of the area.
Western Pleasure Guest Ranch is open year-round for ranch vacations. During the summer, in addition to ranch activities, guests enjoy one of the largest fresh water lakes in the United States, “Lake Pend Oreille”, and area golf. Schweitzer Mountain Resort, a top ski areas in the Northwest, welcomes guests for winter fun, as do on property horse-drawn sleigh rides.
Ride through the timbered Selkirk and Cabinet Mountains, past grazing cattle, deer, bear, and other wildlife in their native surroundings at this Idaho dude ranch.
Western Pleasure Guest Ranch limits the number of guests participating in the summer ranch program to twenty. That means you’ll receive personalized attention during your stay.
