In Depth Information

Why an Equitrekking Top 20 Ranch?

Lazy L&B Ranch is located amid the spectacular natural beauty of the Wind Rover’s East Fork Valley. It’s also located just an hour and a half from Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Forest. Western legends Buffalo Bill, Jim Bridger, Lewis and Clark, Sacajawea and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid each spent meaningful time on the ranch’s lands and surrounding area. The Arapahoe and Shoshone Indians were also fixtures so keep a sharp lookout for arrowheads and other ancient treasures.

From the Horse’s Mouth

You’ll never ride the same trail twice (or even a trail at all, if you so desire) at Lazy L & B Ranch. Experienced wranglers hand-pair each rider with an appropriate horse. Luxury accommodations and exquisite dining offer guests a restful and rewarding stay following a day of riding, hiking, fishing or birdwatching.

Climb out of the valley to enjoy a sunset written about since the very first homesteaders visited the area.

Lazy L&B Ranch features some of the best birdwatching in the American West. Mountain Bluebirds, Western Wood Peewees, Willow Flycatchers and Violet Green Swallows are among the avian treasures easily spotted.

The ranch is adjacent to eighty thousand acres of protected wildlife habitat as part of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. Bears, big horn sheep, wolves, elk, moose, beavers badgers and mountain lions are among the game encountered

Dubois, Wyoming is among the best preserved Western towns in America, lined with wooden sidewalks and taverns offering square dancing and other diversions.
