Visit the border of Old Mexico, see Native American rock paintings, climb into dwellings over 1000 years old and hold actual pieces of Mimbres pottery in your hands.
At this special ranch, guests may truly get away from the modern world. 85 miles from the nearest stoplight, guests here have only to worry about which trail to take. There is no “nose to tail” horseback riding at this ranch, granting even more freedom.
Enjoy mealtimes in dining room or outside. Ribeye steaks, grilled salmon or trout, pork tenderloin, garden fresh vegetables, blueberry pancakes and chocolate mousse are just some of the selections. The food at this ranch is varied and tasty. Cooks can cater to dietary requirements.
Geronimo Trail Ranch has gentle, responsive and trustworthy horses, mainly Quarter horses and Paints, to accommodate all levels of rider. Faster horseback riding, including trotting and loping is available for capable riders where the terrain allows.
Furnished in Native American style or Cowboy motifs, Geronimo Trail Guest Ranch’s Ponderosa cabins are nestled in the pines and include with fireplaces, queen, twin and bunk beds, a coffee maker, full bath/shower, sitting areas, covered porches, and a cookie jar filled with homemade goodies.
